Chair Plan · Last updated: 2026-10-14

Chair Plan does not collect any data. Everything you type into it is kept, encrypted, on the phone it was typed on. We run no server for the app, it has no sign-in, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

1. Who we are

Chair Plan is published on Google Play by ANGRY MACHINE LLC. For this policy, ANGRY MACHINE LLC is the data controller. Write to contact@angrymachinellc.online with any question about it.

2. Information the app handles

Chair Plan is a seating planner, so what you put into it is about the people you seat: the name of each group, the names of the people in it, any note or tag you add to a person, the rooms you set up, the rules you write (who sits apart, who sits together, who needs a front or aisle seat), and every seating plan you make.

All of it stays on your phone. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it.

3. Information we collect

None. We receive nothing from the app: no usage statistics, no crash reports, no device identifiers, no location, no contacts.

4. How the information is used

The app uses what you enter to check each seating plan against your rules, to arrange people so the rules are kept, to compare a plan with the ones before it, and to draw its charts. Those calculations run on the phone.

5. Sharing

We share nothing, since we hold nothing. Something leaves the phone only when you send it yourself: a plan shared as text, a backup file, or a CSV export, each going wherever you choose. Once you have sent it, looking after it is up to you and whoever receives it.

6. Security

Records are stored in an encrypted database (Hive with AES-256). The encryption key is created on the phone and kept in Android's secure key storage through flutter_secure_storage. Your phone's own screen lock adds to that protection.

7. How long data is kept

Until you delete it. You can delete a person, a rule, a room, a plan or a whole group at any time, and Settings has a Clear all data option that removes everything at once. Uninstalling the app also removes all of it. Because we keep no copy, there is nothing to ask us to delete.

8. Accounts

Chair Plan has no accounts, no passwords and no user identifiers.

9. Children

The app is meant for teachers, tutors and organisers, not for children, and is not aimed at anyone under 13. A teacher may type in the names of the pupils they seat; those names stay on the teacher's phone and are never sent to us or anyone else.

10. Your rights

Access, correction, deletion and portability rights apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. On the phone you can view, edit and delete every record, and export a complete copy as JSON or CSV from Settings.

If you are named in someone else's copy of Chair Plan, that information is held by the person who entered it, on their phone, not by us. Ask them about it directly.

11. Third parties

The app includes no third-party services. Google Play distributes it under Google's own privacy policy, which covers the download and not anything the app does afterwards.

12. Permissions

Chair Plan asks for one Android permission, INTERNET. It is used only to show this page when you open Settings and tap Privacy policy. The app cannot read your location, camera, microphone, contacts, files or accounts.

13. Data safety on Google Play

The listing declares that no data is collected and no data is shared. Data is encrypted on the device and can be deleted from inside the app.

14. Changes to this policy

A revised policy is published at this same address with a new date at the top.

15. Contact and legal

Questions go to contact@angrymachinellc.online. ANGRY MACHINE LLC is the data controller, with no joint controller and no processor, because no personal data is processed off the phone.

GDPR. We do not process personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation, so there are no transfers, no lawful basis to state and nothing to report to a supervisory authority.

CCPA and CPRA. We do not collect, sell or share personal information and have not done so in the last twelve months. There is nothing to opt out of.
